Privacy policy

This policy explains what personal information YOUR NAME, trading as Vantex, collects through vantexsunglasses.in, and how it is used.

What we collect. Your name, delivery address, phone number, email address and what you bought. Payment information is handled entirely by Razorpay; we never see or store your full card number or your UPI credentials. We also collect basic usage data such as pages visited and device type through cookies. Anything you send us by email, WhatsApp or the contact form is kept with your order record.

Why we use it. To process and deliver your order, which means sharing your name, address and phone number with our courier and fulfilment partners. To send you order updates. To answer your questions and handle any replacement. To understand how the site is used and improve it. To meet our obligations under tax and consumer protection law.

Advertising. We use Shopify's built-in analytics. If we run advertising on Instagram or Facebook we will use their measurement tools, and this policy will say so before we do.

Who we share it with. Shopify, which hosts this store. Razorpay, which processes payments. Our courier and fulfilment partners. We do not sell your personal information to anyone.

Cookies. This site uses cookies for the cart, for security and for analytics. You can control cookies in your browser settings, though disabling some will affect checkout.

Retention. Order records are kept as long as tax and legal rules require, generally up to eight years.

Your rights. You can ask us to see, correct or delete your personal information, or to stop sending you marketing messages, by writing to EMAIL. We respond within 30 days. Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023 you may also nominate someone to exercise these rights on your behalf.

Children. This site is not directed at anyone under 18 and we do not knowingly collect their information.

Security. Data is sent over encrypted connections and stored on Shopify's infrastructure. No system is perfectly secure. If we learn of a breach that affects you, we will tell you.

Changes. We may update this policy. The version on the site applies from the day it is posted.
